The Sewing Room

These beautiful jewellery pieces were inspired by the birds in my suburban landscape. Birds are the most obvious and frequently encountered wildlife found in our man-made landscape. Whether taking a walk through a park or simply sitting in a garden, we have the opportunity to enjoy their beauty and sounds. They provide us with an amazing opportunity to connect with the natural world, just outside our front door. I have tired to capture the beautiful of these little feathered creatures as they cross our path, using simple cut out shapes and etched circular discs. I hope you enjoy Subirdia.
